Two that I made
I’ve interviewed a bunch of debut authors lately about what they think / expect / know / feel prior to their book coming out. It was fascinating. I made this free mini ebook ‘Top Three Debut Author Worries and How to Manage Them’ about it (if you download it, you’ll get a short series of coaching business-related emails from me sorry sorry sorry).
What’s cool is, I had ALL of these worries when I first got published and now they’re not things I think about, or at least not in the catastrophic way I did then. I guess that’s evolution?
I got to interview Mia Freedman. Oh God, I love her.
Someone Else’s Stuff
I hate recommending books that sell over a million copies because I’m more unique that that but boy is Never Split the Difference by Chris Voss good. He was an FBI hostage negotiator and it’s about the art of negotiation. It’s got super tense, high stakes stories AND good, implementable advice. The only room for improvement is I wish he read the audiobook himself. Chris Voss has a got a great voice, it’s gravelly.
