This week:
I got good news this week but not good news I can share yet.

I feel fondly about very specific societies:
Also, my daughter has started saying ‘no offence but [offensive statement]’.
Genuine mystery:
Note - I have actually seen an instance of hot dog hands (Oslo, circa 2004). It was two hands, six hot dogs wedged between the fingers.
I’m unreasonably annoyed by the following:
(Also— it can’t be a one off donation, it has to be recurrent.)
Finally, how frightening:
Three Interesting Things
This episode of Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard , in which he interviews Anna Kendrick. It’s partly about how she was in an abusive relationship, which sounds depressing and sad but is somehow compelling and insightful and fascinating… They also talk jealousy, which is one of my favourite things to hear about. Be warned - the first ten minutes is small talk about a couch / how tiny Anna Kendrick is, but persevere. You have to listen to it on Spotify, there’s no other way.
Powerful phrases to say to your children . Key point - you have keep saying them.
Okay, one more:
This clip of hedgehog cakes that get progressively worse. It’s all in the teeth!
Words I wish I said and am trying to live by
‘Whoever has the most fun, wins.’ (via James Clear)
May your days be filled with fun,

Love, as usual
I have arm chair diagnosed Anna Kendrick to at least one of the dark-triad of personality disorders. I think narcissistic PD. Will this podcast convince me otherwise?
