Two Things:
1. I hate Fantales, so I’m glad they’re cancelled.
2. My boss saw me in a Zoom meeting this week and asked if I was wearing an oodie. I wasn’t; I was wearing a hoodie, which mightn’t feel like much of a distinction but it is. (It’s probably a sign I have to start getting at least top-half dressed for work.)
Thanks for reading!

Did I say my middle grade book has found a home? It’s with Harper Collins Kids. I’m telling you this casually but I couldn’t be more excited. I’ve been working on the illustrations:

Interesting Things
I did this interview with RA Spratt (Nanny Piggins, Friday Barnes, also her podcast Bedtime Stories with RA Spratt) for The First Time. God I love her. My kids are massive fans but not as big as me.
A tweet that could be a book — it’s so freaking good! Click the link!!
The audio version of Andy Cohen’s memoir Most Talkative is bringing me great joy this week. Because it’s him reading his own writing, he has this lovely way of interjecting and commenting on his words. Genuinely hilarious but maybe more so if you’re a Housewives enthusiast. The best bit is he’s just written another book so once I’ve finished this I’ll go to that.
Love these illustrations! Remind me a little of Gemma Correll. Oh, and I'm not with about the Fantales. I'm beyond devo. So much so I panic ordered 3kg online. Kind of regretting it now...
